Meta Ads for a Beauty Salon: 700+ Leads a Month and a Second Location

Cover image: Meta Ads for a Beauty Salon: 700+ Leads a Month and a Second Location

Meta Ads can work for a beauty salon if the campaign does not stop at reach and instead drives measurable lead forms that get worked in a CRM. This case study covers a beauty salon client where Facebook and Instagram campaigns helped the owner scale her ad budget, open a second studio and bring in more than 700 leads a month across two ad accounts. The data comes from Meta Ads Manager and the adsfox CRM.

Beauty salon Meta Ads case study: starting point and goal

How did Facebook and Instagram ads, lead forms and a CRM scale lead generation for a beauty salon and support the opening of a second studio?

In the beauty business a good treatment menu is not enough. A salon has to reach people nearby on a regular basis, show them a concrete offer, capture their contact details and respond fast. Only the combination of ads, a lead form and a sales process produces a result you can scale.

The main goal in this project was not to push cost per lead down at any price. The goal was to grow the volume, keep cost per lead at an acceptable level and get the owner to a point where she could grow the business, hire another team and open a new studio.

The client: Magda and her beauty salon

Magda runs a beauty salon just outside Warsaw, Poland. Her menu includes skin and body treatments such as stretch mark reduction and skin smoothing, plus the promotional treatments featured in the Meta Ads campaigns.

Before adsfox stepped in, the campaigns were already running correctly. That is an important distinction, because not every case study starts with fixing broken tracking or an account run without a strategy. Here the starting point was a project with potential that needed more scale: more campaigns, a bigger budget and an organized lead handling process.

The main limitation was volume. The budget and the number of form submissions did not match the owner’s growth plans. The salon could sell more treatments, but it needed a predictable source of leads from paid social.

First contact with adsfox

Magda found adsfox through one of our own Meta ads. That is a good example of an agency’s ad becoming the first proof that the channel works. When a service business sees a well-run campaign and submits its own contact details, it is easier to trust the same process for its own business.

For a beauty salon the key was turning marketing into actual lead handling. A Facebook lead form is only the beginning. The real questions come afterward: is the lead from the right area, is the person interested in a specific treatment, and does the salon team turn that contact into a booked appointment quickly?

So from day one we looked at the campaigns not just through the cost per result in Ads Manager, but through scale and the follow-up process.

Why adsfox?

What mattered in this project was experience with Meta Ads lead campaigns and a data-driven approach. adsfox is a Meta Business Partner, so on Facebook and Instagram campaigns we pay attention to signal quality, campaign structure, creative and what happens after the form is submitted.

A beauty salon does not need raw website traffic or random Messenger conversations. It needs contacts from people who can actually come in for a treatment. That is why in projects like this the campaigns are connected to a CRM and a sales process.

If a service business wants to know which campaigns actually generate inquiries, our lead generation optimization system is built for exactly that. In beauty this has a practical meaning: not every cheap lead is valuable. Location, intent and response time can change the business result more than the cost per form itself.

How the engagement started

The engagement has been running since mid-2024. All advertising was done 100% on Meta Ads, meaning Facebook and Instagram. Lead generation was based on Facebook lead forms.

In the first half of 2025 the analyzed ad spend was about $3,440 on a single ad account. In the first half of 2026 the campaigns were already running on two ad accounts, with a combined spend of roughly $13,900.

That shows how far the project has come. Comparing the two half-year periods, ad spend grew from about $3,400 to about $13,900. In parallel, the owner launched a new studio on a new ad account, which also started performing well.

Advertising budget for a beauty salon

A typical starting budget in this industry is about $500 a month. In practice that level is enough to test promotional offers, audiences and cost per form, but it quickly becomes too small for aggressive scaling.

In this project the budget grew as the campaigns grew. In the first half of 2025 one ad account spent about $3,440 and generated 1,626 leads. In the first half of 2026 the two accounts reached a combined budget of about $13,900.

The business lesson matters: scale is not just about adding money to the same campaign. Here, scaling meant more campaigns and ads, a bigger budget and a new studio on a separate ad account. That is a completely different level of management than a single test campaign.

Campaign preparation

We did not inherit an account that needed rebuilding from scratch. The campaigns were working, so the goal was to expand them and organize the larger scale.

We implemented and used the pieces needed to handle leads:

  • the adsfox CRM,
  • an integration with the client’s own CRM,
  • optimization for the new lead conversion,
  • lead form campaigns in Meta Ads,
  • a larger number of campaigns, ads and message tests.

The biggest challenge was leads coming in from outside the studio’s service area. For a local beauty salon that is a real problem. A lead can be cheap, but if the person lives too far away or has no realistic way of coming in for a treatment, that lead is worth far less to the business than a contact from the right area.

So optimization had to account not only for cost per form, but also for the quality and locality of the inquiries.

What we implemented in the beauty salon Meta Ads campaigns

Facebook and Instagram campaigns

We used Meta Ads campaigns focused on lead forms. The structure included several campaign types: an automated Advantage+ campaign, broad campaigns with no targeting restrictions, narrower campaigns built on interests and exclusions, and remarketing.

In the beauty industry promotional messages work well, especially when the user immediately understands the value: a specific treatment, a discount, a new service or a treatment package at an attractive price. Generic ads about “taking care of yourself” rarely send as strong a signal as a concrete reason to book now.

Broad campaigns with no exclusions and promotional messages performed best. Audiences built around beauty, cosmetics and beauty salons also worked.

CRM and lead handling

The CRM was an important part of the project, because with a high volume of forms it is easy to lose control of inquiries. When a salon receives several hundred contacts a month, it needs a process: who calls back, when the lead was handled, whether the person booked, and which campaigns deliver the best inquiries.

At adsfox we look at lead campaigns beyond the raw number of forms. A lead should land in a system, get assigned and move through the sales process. Only then can you tell whether the ads are really filling the treatment calendar.

That approach was especially important when scaling to two ad accounts and a second studio.

What we avoided in this industry

For a beauty salon not every campaign objective makes equal sense. In this project we deliberately avoided campaigns optimized for traffic, Messenger or phone calls as the main direction.

Traffic campaigns can look good in Ads Manager because they deliver clicks, but they do not necessarily deliver sales contacts. Messenger and call campaigns can work for some services, but at scale a lead form plus a CRM gives far more control over the number of inquiries, their handling and later analysis.

What mattered most was a measurable contact: the user leaves their details, and the salon can work that lead through its sales process.

Beauty salon Meta Ads results

In the first half of 2025 one ad account generated 1,626 leads at about $2.10 per lead on a budget of about $3,440. That was a very strong cost baseline.

In the first half of 2026 one of the accounts generated 1,995 leads at about $3.50 per lead on a budget of about $6,930. A second ad account ran in parallel for the new studio. Combined, according to the project data, the two accounts generated more than 700 leads a month.

This is an important moment of interpretation. Cost per lead on one account rose from about $2.10 to about $3.50, but the project grew significantly in scale and added a second studio. In that situation we do not judge success by the lowest CPL alone. We look at whether the business can handle the larger volume of inquiries, whether the new studio gets a predictable source of leads and whether the cost still fits an acceptable range for selling treatments.

Below are the original Meta Ads Manager screenshots with the client’s identifying data blurred. The screenshots show amounts in Polish zloty (PLN), the client’s local currency; we converted them at roughly 4 PLN to the dollar. The first screenshot shows the account in the first half of 2025: 1,626 leads at 8.47 PLN (about $2.10) per lead, a reach of 94,769 and spend of 13,772.77 PLN (about $3,440).

What actually changed for the client

The strongest result is not the lead count itself. The strongest result is the business decisions that became possible thanks to predictable lead generation.

The owner could afford to open a new studio and scale the business. At the same time she needed to hire a new team. That shows the ads were not just a media cost, but part of growing the company.

For a beauty salon that effect is very concrete. More leads mean a need for more operating capacity: people to handle inquiries, specialists to perform treatments and a process that turns interest from ads into real appointments.

Next steps

The plan for the coming months is to keep scaling the budget and the campaigns on both ad accounts. At the same time the goal is to bring cost per lead below $2.50 per form.

That is a sensible direction after a phase of building scale. First the project proved that inquiry volume can grow and a second studio can be launched. The next phase should focus on cost efficiency, the quality of local leads and further testing of promotional messages.

In practice that means working on campaign structure, creative, offers, exclusions and lead quality analysis in the CRM.

How to advertise a beauty salon effectively on Facebook and Instagram

This project points to several lessons for beauty salons, med spas and other local service businesses.

First, the campaign should lead to a measurable contact. A lead form is a better reference point than traffic, reach or reactions, because it lets you evaluate the cost of a real inquiry.

Second, the message should be specific. In beauty, promotions, packages and new treatments work well. The user should immediately understand why it is worth leaving their details now.

Third, location matters a lot. A lead from outside the studio’s service area can lower campaign quality even if it costs very little. With local services you have to look not only at the number of forms, but at whether the contact has a real chance of becoming an appointment.

Fourth, you need a CRM at scale. Several hundred leads a month without a handling process turns into chaos. With a CRM the business sees which contacts were handled and whether the ads actually support treatment sales.

Summary of the engagement

In this case study, Meta Ads for a beauty salon showed that scaling campaigns does not always mean the lowest cost per lead in every period. Sometimes volume growth, an acceptable cost per contact and room for the business to grow matter more.

Key numbers from the project:

  • ad channel: Meta Ads, 100%,
  • budget in the first half of 2025: about $3,440 on one account,
  • result in the first half of 2025: 1,626 leads at about $2.10 each,
  • budget in the first half of 2026: roughly $13,900 across two accounts,
  • result in the first half of 2026: more than 700 leads a month from two accounts,
  • cost per lead on one of the accounts in 2026: about $3.50,
  • business impact: a new studio opened and a new team hired.

The takeaway is simple: in beauty salon advertising a cheap form is not the whole story. What counts is a system that can generate a larger number of local leads and turn them into business growth.

FAQ

FAQ: Meta Ads for beauty salons

In this case study the typical starting budget for a beauty salon was about $500 a month, and the project scaled to roughly $13,900 in ad spend over the half year we analyzed. The real number depends on your city, your treatment menu, creative quality and how fast your front desk follows up on leads.
In this project the cost per lead was about $2.10 in the first half of 2025 and about $3.50 on one of the ad accounts in the first half of 2026. The higher number came with a big jump in scale and the launch of a second studio, so it has to be read together with lead volume and the impact on the business, not on its own.
Yes. Meta Ads work well for beauty salons when the campaigns are built around lead forms, broad targeting and clear promotional offers. In this case study Facebook and Instagram accounted for 100% of the ad spend.
Form submissions, cost per lead, where the leads are located and how they are handled in a CRM. Clicks alone, or traffic campaigns, do not tell you whether the salon is actually filling its appointment book.
