Meta Lead Ads for a Dance School: 325 Leads at About $2.70

Dance school advertising can bring in local class sign-ups even on a budget of about $125 a month. In this project the adsfox campaigns generated 325 form leads at an average cost of about $2.70, and after optimization the monthly cost per lead settled in the $1.50-2 range.
The case study below is a project for one of our clients in the dance industry. It shows how local Facebook and Instagram Ads campaigns, proper tracking and the adsfox CRM helped increase the number of class sign-ups.
Dance school advertising: the starting point and project goals
How to use Meta Lead Ads to get more sign-ups for local dance classes without burning through a small budget.
Advertising a dance school is a local online campaign that connects the offer of specific classes with a precisely targeted audience and a simple sign-up path. In this project the conversion path was a Lead Ads form on Facebook and Instagram.
Sylwia’s situation before the campaign
Sylwia runs a dance studio in Gdynia, Poland, and sells sign-ups for a wide range of classes. Before working with us she launched campaigns and boosted posts on her own. She also tried working with another agency, but that did not bring the expected results.
The main problem was too few class sign-ups. The account had no Meta Pixel, and form submissions were not tracked as conversions. Without those pieces it was hard to tell which ads actually delivered leads and which only generated reach or reactions.
Why adsfox?
Sylwia was convinced by the results adsfox delivers. Instead of boosting more posts without full visibility into the outcome, we focused on a campaign that leads straight to a form.
adsfox is a Meta Business Partner. In practice that means access to Meta’s know-how and standards, but the result still depends on the specialist’s work: choosing the objective, the audiences, the creatives and how to react to campaign data.
Free consultation and project goals
The starting point was agreeing that the ads should generate form submissions from people interested in classes, not just post impressions. Before launch we also had to fill the missing technical pieces: the Meta Pixel and conversion tracking.
Because the studio is a local business, the campaign had to reach people genuinely interested in dancing within the right service area. The offer changed often, and new enrollment slots opened every 2 weeks. The campaign therefore had to follow the current schedule and the variety of classes.
Getting started and the ad budget
The engagement has been running for 10 months. The starting ad budget was about $125 a month and has not been increased. 100% of the budget went to Facebook and Instagram Ads.
At that level of spend there was no room for random campaigns. Every message had to match the current offer, and the ad platform needed a clear goal: a contact submitted through the form.

Preparing the Meta Ads campaign
Before the actual optimization began, we set up:
- the Meta Pixel, which was missing before,
- form lead tracking,
- the adsfox CRM to organize leads,
- a Lead Ads campaign on Facebook and Instagram,
- a process for regularly adjusting promotions to the current enrollment slots.
In this project we did not implement the Conversions API or server-side tracking. The technical scope covered the Meta Pixel, forms and the adsfox CRM. That detail matters, because the result has to be attributed to the work actually done, not to tools that were not part of the project.
What we ran in the Meta Ads campaigns
Facebook and Instagram campaign
We optimized the campaign for lead forms. The ads targeted local audiences interested in topics such as modern dance, ballet, contemporary dance, ballroom dancing, bachata, tango, dance halls and dance studios.
Interests were not the goal in themselves. They were a starting point for reaching people who might actually be looking for classes. The result of the adsfox campaign also depended on keeping the offer current and matching the message to a specific type of class.
Flexible promotions for a changing schedule
The unusual challenge was the wide variety of classes and frequent changes in available spots. Enrollment slots opened every 2 weeks, so the campaign could not promote one unchanging message for months.
The campaign had to account for that rhythm and react often to changes in the offer. More promotional pushes are planned from September. In a local service business, ads have to reflect the real availability of classes, not just generate reach.
Tracking and the adsfox CRM
The form was the main conversion. As part of the project we also implemented the adsfox CRM.
The Meta Pixel and conversion tracking gave us the basis for optimization. That does not mean every form automatically becomes a customer. The final sign-up also depends on the studio’s follow-up, a matching time slot and available spots.
What results did the dance school ads deliver?
At launch the cost per lead was $4.50-5. After optimization it dropped to $1.50-2, and the campaigns generated 50-70 leads a month. The first results appeared after about 2 weeks.
The anonymized Meta Ads dashboard also shows the result for a longer period analyzed: 325 form leads, an average of 10.75 PLN (about $2.70) per lead and a reach of 49,115 accounts. The average of about $2.70 covers the whole visible period and is not the same as the post-optimization cost from the later stage of the project.

The screenshot below shows the number of leads and the cost per result in the adsfox campaign. The campaign name has been anonymized, and the metrics are unchanged.

The second screenshot shows the total result, the reach and the number of forms over time.

What actually changed for the client
The most important effect is not the drop in cost per form itself. According to the client’s brief, the studio got more class sign-ups, and the campaign supported the studio’s recognition in the local community.
The adsfox campaigns gave Sylwia contact details of people interested in classes. Instead of relying only on boosting posts herself, the studio could run enrollment through campaigns set up with the form as the concrete result.
Return on the budget and next steps
The budget stayed at about $125 a month, and after optimization the cost per lead was $1.50-2. The campaigns generated 50-70 form leads a month without any budget increase.
From September, adsfox plans more promotions matched to new enrollment rounds. The direction stays the same: a current offer, a local audience, the form as the goal and results tracked in the CRM.

How to advertise a dance school effectively
The lessons from this project are practical:
- target the campaign locally, because distance from the studio affects the decision to sign up,
- promote current classes and available dates, not a general offer with no start date,
- optimize the ads for the form, not for reach or engagement under a post,
- set up the Meta Pixel and conversion tracking before judging performance,
- organize leads in a CRM instead of handling inquiries through scattered messages,
- judge the campaign not only by cost per lead, but also by the number of real sign-ups.
One studio’s result is no guarantee for another. It does show, however, that local dance school advertising can work on a budget of $125-250 a month, as long as the campaign is synchronized with the class schedule and measured through forms.
