Franchise marketing: corporate and locations in one system
In a franchise system, marketing has two owners.
Corporate protects the brand, templates, and consistency, while each franchisee needs customers in their own town, ideally this month.
The most common problem we see is a network running campaigns only at the corporate level: it looks fine in a system-wide report, but no location knows what its own customers actually cost.
We build franchise marketing in two layers instead.
Corporate approves the campaign, creative, and post templates, and we turn them into local action for every location, with its own address, offer, and budget.

Campaigns for dozens, even hundreds of locations
We have our own tools for building Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns for an entire network at once.
One template produces a campaign for every location, with its own location, radius, budget, and offer.
Adding a new location means filling in its data, not a week of manual setup.
We work two-track: with corporate on materials and posts, and with franchisees on their campaigns, creative, and consultations.
A location can have its own ad account, budget, and report.
AI agents check every campaign for anomalies daily; a specialist decides on budget and changes.

Creative for dozens and hundreds of locations
One brand template, hundreds of versions.
On templates approved by corporate, we swap in each location's details: city, address, price, local promotion.
That produces ad and post creative in every format a location needs, checked by a designer before it reaches a campaign.
We favor real photos from each location, because networks are right to protect brand consistency, and creative generated entirely by AI tends to look the same everywhere.
AI helps with variants and copy.

Social posts for an unlimited number of locations
Every location has its own Facebook and Instagram profile, and few franchisees have time to run it.
Our system publishes posts to every location's profile on one shared calendar, with no cap on the number of locations.
Posts are personalized: AI adapts the content to each location (hours, team, local events, promotion), and corporate approves the template before anything goes live.
Client workspaces are isolated from each other, so a post from one network has no technical path to another network's profile.

SEO, GEO, and Google Business Profile management for every location
A customer searches for a service nearby, so in Google, in Maps, and in AI answers, the individual location wins, not the brand alone.
That's why we optimize every location separately.
Its Google Business Profile gets accurate data, categories, photos, posts, and review responses.
Its page on the network's site is optimized for phrases like service plus city.
GEO prepares each location to be named when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, or AI Overviews for a recommended option in their city.
We measure calls, direction requests, and inquiries separately for every location.

Leads and sales counted for every location
A lead from a campaign is tagged with its location and routed straight to wherever that location works: a CRM or a front-desk system, with no manual re-entry.
Sales status flows back to Meta and Google through CRM CAPI and server-side tracking, so campaigns learn from customers, not just form fills.
Corporate sees the whole network and compares locations; a franchisee sees their own result.
That answers the question every network eventually asks: what does the marketing fund actually buy a specific location?

Franchisee recruitment online
A network only grows if it keeps finding new franchisees.
Candidates already search for opportunities on their own, and those searches are inexpensive to buy compared with consumer-facing keywords, yet most networks still lean almost entirely on franchise portals and expos to fill the pipeline.
We run Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns aimed at prospective franchisees in the regions where a network wants to open new locations.
We build a recruitment landing page with a form that asks about territory, available budget, and timeline up front, and candidate status flows back into the campaigns so they optimize for signed agreements.

One of Europe's largest networks of nutrition clinics, with nearly 400 offices.
Xtreme Fitness Gyms

What our clients say
What I value most about working with you is having a dedicated specialist. The person matters, what they can do and how they communicate, and that is what I appreciate at adsfox. With other agencies and freelancers I could never get satisfying results. Now, after two years of working with you, it simply works.

Piotr
Owner, outdoor LED lighting manufacturer (luminous paving stones)
Given my own marketing background, I would definitely recommend working with adsfox. Highly recommended. These guys know what they are doing. I think adsfox is a great partner to work with.

Przemysław
Marketing director, event services company (crew and technical staffing)
What I value most about adsfox is that it is not a "pay and wait" arrangement. At any moment I can see where the money goes and what return it brings, and I have direct contact with specialists who advise me not only on ads but also on my offer and strategy. I delegate the complicated stuff and still keep full control over the outcome.

Dawid
Owner, e-commerce store (personalized wooden gifts)
Our revenue grew significantly and we won a lot of new clients, which is not easy in our business. That month was a record in terms of revenue, and a lot of women decided to book our services. Our schedule was packed, so we actually had to pause the ads for a while.

Justyna
Owner, women's body shaping and fitness studio
I am very happy with the cooperation. Many more customers started calling. We also see much higher traffic in our stats, both from Facebook and from Google, and it turns into phone calls and new bookings. I am very pleased with working with you.

Marcin
Owner, paintball park and outdoor events venue
With you I now pay almost 10 times less per conversion and get 200 new subscriptions a month, so for me this is a game changer.

Why adsfox?
adsfox has run marketing for service businesses since 2018: more than 350 clients across 20+ industries.
We work with businesses in the US and Europe, fully remote.
We are a Meta Business Partner (Badged) and a Google Partner.
Over those years we built our own tools and AI agents that take over the repetitive work, so our specialists spend their time on analysis and decisions.
Websites, SEO and GEO, paid campaigns, and measurement come from one team, instead of four vendors you have to coordinate.

What is franchise marketing
Franchise marketing combines brand promotion across the whole system with customer acquisition for every individual location. Corporate is responsible for brand recognition, a consistent look, and communication templates, usually funded in part by a marketing or advertising fund that franchisees contribute to (in the US, the Franchise Disclosure Document, specifically FDD Item 11, typically spells out the fee and how it can be used). Locations need local campaigns, an active social media presence, a strong Google Business Profile, and fast lead response. Effective franchise marketing ties both layers together, so a franchisee sees results in their own town and corporate does not lose control of the brand.
All our guides on this topic live under franchise marketing, and the corporate-versus-location split is covered in franchise marketing strategy: what corporate owns and what each location owns. Starting from zero? Read local store marketing in a franchise system first.
What exactly we do for franchise networks
- Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns for every location: lead and sales campaigns targeted to a location's surrounding area, cloned from one template across the network. For Google Ads that includes location-based campaigns built from your Business Profile locations.
- Google Business Profile management for every location: data, categories, photos, posts, review generation and responses, and measurement of calls and direction requests. More in Google Business Profile management for franchise locations.
- SEO for every location: a dedicated location page on the network's site, optimized for phrases like service plus city or neighborhood. More on the discipline itself: SEO agency.
- GEO for every location: preparing a location to be named when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, or AI Overviews for a recommended option, for example the best gym or clinic in a given city, and checking whether the models name it. We cover the method on our AI SEO agency page.
- Creative and video for locations: brand templates filled with a location's data, in formats built for ads, posts, and stories.
- Social media for every location's profile: personalized posts on a shared calendar, published automatically.
- Measurement and reporting per location: cost per lead, lead volume, sales, side-by-side comparison across locations, available around the clock.
- Integrations: leads routed to a CRM or a location's own system, sales status flowing back to the ad platforms.
- Franchisee recruitment: Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns aimed at people searching for a franchise, a recruitment landing page with a qualifying form, and measurement through to a signed agreement. Covered in franchisee recruitment marketing.
- Brand-level campaigns: building national brand awareness where a network needs it, including visibility in AI answers.
SEO, GEO, and Google Business Profile: visibility for every location
Advertising brings customers for as long as you pay for it. Visibility in search, in Google Maps, and in AI answers keeps working afterward, which is why we run it per location instead of only at the brand level for a network. A growing share of customers skip the ad entirely and type "gym" or "dentist" into Maps, or ask ChatGPT for a recommended option in their city.
We start with the Google Business Profile, often the first thing a customer sees. We clean up each location's data, categories, and photos, manage posts, and help locations collect reviews. For a network we also agree on access up front: corporate sees every profile, and each franchisee keeps its own information current. The second layer is a location page on the network's site, optimized for the service plus the city. The third is GEO: a model recommends a location when it finds consistent, specific information about it on the site, in the Business Profile, in reviews, and in outside sources, so we prepare locations for those questions and check whether the models name them.
How we start working with a network
A pilot works best. We pick one to three locations, ideally a mix (a larger market and a smaller one), and launch the full set for them: campaigns, Google Business Profile, location SEO and GEO, creative, posts, and lead measurement. Within a few weeks corporate can see the cost per lead and per sale at each one, and the franchisees in the pilot tell the rest of the network whether it is worth expanding. Only then do we roll it out to more locations.
To start we need a location list with current details (address, phone, hours, offer), admin access to social profiles and ad accounts, and brand materials. Cleaning up location data is usually the part that takes the most time during onboarding, so we help gather it.
Who pays for franchise marketing: corporate or the franchisee
We work with three models, and each one fits a different network. In the first, corporate pays from the marketing or advertising fund, and we report each location's result back to corporate. In the second, every franchisee holds its own ad budget (for example, its own card on its location's ad account), while corporate supplies templates and protects the brand. Some networks call the local piece co-op advertising: corporate and the franchisee split the cost of a local campaign under agreed brand rules. In the third model the two combine: corporate funds brand campaigns and part of local activity, and the location adds budget for its own area. Whichever model applies, we set clear expectations up front for who sees which reports and who approves changes. None of this is legal advice on how to structure your fund or on FTC Franchise Rule compliance; a franchise attorney should review your FDD and fund language.
Which networks we work with
Most of our experience is with service networks where the customer visits a location near them: fitness clubs, nutrition clinics, aesthetic medicine and beauty practices, optical shops, medical practices. Each of these industries has its own seasons, offers, and customer, so we build the campaign template around the network's industry instead of copying one client's setup onto another.
We work with networks ranging from a dozen locations to several hundred. Our tools for cloning and publishing campaigns are built for networks with hundreds of locations, so growth does not force a change in how we work.

Frequently asked questions about franchise marketing
Franchise marketing combines brand promotion run by corporate with customer acquisition for every individual location. Corporate sets templates, protects the brand, and usually manages a marketing fund; each location needs local campaigns, a complete Google Business Profile, and fast lead response. We run both layers together so a franchisee sees results in their own town.
Yes. Every location can have its own campaign, its own budget, and its own report, and its own ad account if needed. We clone campaigns from one template, so a network with dozens or hundreds of locations does not mean dozens or hundreds of times more manual work.
Both, at the same time. With corporate we prepare and publish materials and posts for the whole network. With franchisees we run their location's campaigns, manage ads, posts, and creative, and provide consultations. Both sides use our AI-supported tools.
Yes. Every location can get a managed Google Business Profile (data, categories, photos, posts, reviews), its own page on the network's site targeting service plus city, and GEO preparation for questions asked to ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI Overviews about a service in that city. We measure calls, direction requests, and inquiries separately for every location. More in Google Business Profile management for franchise locations.
There is no cap. Our system publishes to every location's profile on a shared schedule, and AI adapts the content to each one. The requirement is admin access to each location's pages and a business Instagram account connected to its Facebook Page. More in social media for franchise locations.
AI helps, but it does not draw a location from scratch. Creative is built on brand templates approved by corporate, using real photos and a specific location's data. AI drafts text and format variants, and a designer checks everything before it publishes, so hundreds of versions still look like one brand.
We set that at the start. Most often corporate approves templates and rules, and a franchisee can add local content, such as team photos or an event in their city. Every campaign change goes through a specialist, and corporate keeps visibility across the whole network.
Every lead is tagged with its location, so we count cost per lead, lead volume, and sales for each location separately. Sales status flows back to Meta and Google so campaigns learn from customers, not just form fills. Corporate sees every location side by side; a franchisee sees their own result.
Yes. We run Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns targeted at people searching for a franchise, in the regions where a network wants to grow. We build a recruitment landing page with a form asking about territory, budget, and timeline, and candidate status flows back into the campaigns. Details in franchisee recruitment marketing.
It depends on the number of campaigns, forms, and landing pages, and on whether we also run location SEO and GEO, Google Business Profiles, social media, and creative, not just on the number of locations. We price a network individually, usually after a pilot on a few locations. Book a consultation and we will scope a quote for your network.
We are a marketing agency, not a law firm, so this is not legal advice. The FTC Franchise Rule and your Franchise Disclosure Document govern how a marketing or advertising fund can be structured and disclosed; a franchise attorney should review that language before you finalize it. We build the campaigns, reporting, and fund transparency once those terms are set.
